Dave Allen delivers final KO verdict for Moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic: “He’s all wrong for him”

After experiencing first hand what it is like to share the ring with Filip Hrgovic, Dave Allen has made his prediction for the upcoming fight against Moses Itauma.

Unbeaten sensation Itauma will face the toughest test of his career so far when he meets Hrgovic at the O2 Arena in London on August 29.

While Itauma has won all 14 of his fights to date, Hrgovic is also heading into the bout on a good run of form, having claimed wins over Joe Joyce, David Adeleye and most recently Allen in his last three fights.

The Croatian needed just three rounds to dispatch of Allen when they fought at the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster last month, but despite that loss, ‘The White Rhino’ revealed on his podcast that he believes Itauma will easily come out on top.

“I think Itauma wins in 2 or 3 [rounds]. I really do. I think he knocks Hrgovic out cold. As good as I think Hrgovic is, and he was miles too good for me, I just think Itauma is all wrong for him.

“Hrogvic is stand up tall, straight shots, I think Itauma will just be miles too fast for him. Hrgovic will come and have a go and try to knock Itauma out, which is great, but I think Itauma is going to hit him first.”

Allen isn’t the only British heavyweight to make a prediction for the fight after previously going up against one of the competitors, as former Itauma victim Dillian White has also shared his thoughts on the clash.
